Karachi man shot to death by friends after argument

In a startling story of crime, a young man died at the hands of his own friends after being shot more than a dozen times.

The incident occurred near Defense Khayaban-e-Janbaz area of ​​Karachi and its case was registered in Derakhshan police station.

The deceased has been identified as Humayun Dawood, who was allegedly shot infront of his house. He was an only son and was the father of two children as well.

The case was filed by the victim’s friend Humam Javed and carries the provisions of murder and attempted murder.

The said that he was sitting along with Dawood, Ahmad Zaman, Saqib, Asif and Fahad before the murder when an argument began. However, the argument was smoothed over by the group.

As soon as Humam and Fahad got in their car to leave, Fahad allegedly fired at them, injuring them both.

As they tried to get away, Fahad chased them to Dawood’s house, rammed his car and fired at Humayun until he died. Dawood’s wife and mother came out of the house after hearing the shooting.

Javed also stated that Humayun was first taken to a private hospital and then to Jinnah Hospital but he was declared dead.

According to the police, more than 15 shells have been found at the crime scene and there are several bullet marks on the victim’s car as well. Police are investigating the dispute between Humayun and Fahad as well.
