The Establishment Division has announced new office timings for federal government employees.
According to an official notification, the working hours for federal government offices that are operating five days a week will be from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
For offices functioning six days a week, the revised timings will be from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
To accommodate prayer and lunchtime, a designated 30-minute break from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm will be given.
During the holy month of Ramadan, six working hours were implemented.
Previously, the working hours for federal government institutions were from 9 am to 3 pm for five days a week, and from 9 am to 2 pm for six days a week.
On Fridays, federal government offices operated from 9 am to 12:30 pm.
