Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Omar Ayub has declared plans to hold three rallies in Punjab and one in Karachi.
The party is also going to hold a rally in Balochistan.
During a press conference on Friday, Ayub said the the current government came to power with the help of Form-47s and the PTI would protest the stolen mandate.
The opposition alliance will hold a rally in Pashin, Chaman on Saturday, April 13, he said.
He said three more rallies will be held in Punjab later. A rally will take place on April 27 in Karachi, he added.
Ayub emphasized that the PTI will expose the alleged wrongdoings of the government and hold them accountable.
He claimed that PTI Chairman Imran Khan had been falsely implicated, along with other party leaders such as Shah Mahmood Qureshi, and they had been imprisoned.
Ayub himself had remained in hiding.
He dismissed speculations that the party would cease to exist, calling such notions baseless.
During the press conference, Ayub also mentioned the filing of bogus cases against the PTI leadership, including Imran Khan.
He criticized the imprisonment of Khan, Qureshi, and others and stated that there was a lack of constitutionality and rule of law in the country.
Ayub expressed his desire for the establishment of a state resembling Medina, where the law would be enforced. Capital investment would flow only when law is established, he said.’Ayub termed the current government as PDM-2 – a reference to the 16-month government that was set up immediately after Imran Khan was removed from power.
