The Pakistan Meteorological Department has alerted people about stormy rains on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr in different areas of Pakistan from April 10 to 15.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has forecasted stormy rains in areas including Murree, Galliyat, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Chakwal, and Attock on April 10 and 12.
While areas such as Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Gujrat, Gujranwala, Hafizabad, Sialkot, Narowal, Lahore, Kasur, Okara, Faisalabad, Toba Tek Singh, Jhang, Khushab, Sargodha, Mianwali, Dera Ghazi Khan, Rajanpur, Bhakkar, Layyah, Multan, Pakpattan, Sahiwal, Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, Rahim Yar Khan, Sadiqabad, Khanpur, Bahawalpur, and Bahawalnagar can experience rain from April 12th at evening and night to 15th with windstorms and hailstorms from April 13th to 15th.
The PMD forecast indicated intermittent rain and thunderstorms in Gilgit-Baltistan in areas such as Diamer, Astore, Ghizer, Skardu, Hunza, Gilgit, Ghanche, and Shigar, and in Kashmir from April 10th to 15th.
From April 13th to 15th, areas including Kohistan, Shangla, Buner, and Malakand will have occasional gaps, while Waziristan, Kohat, Lakki Marwat, Bannu, Dera Ismail Khan, Bajaur, Mohmand, Karak, Khyber, Peshawar, Charsadda, Nowshera, Swabi, Mardan, and Kurram are being predicted with rain from April 12th to 15th and heavy fall and hailstorm from April 13th to 15th.
In Balochistan, areas such as Jhal Magsi, Loralai, Ziarat, Quetta, Chaman, Pishin, Qila Abdullah, Qila Saifullah, Kalat, Lasbella, Khuzdar, Chagi, and Panjgur. Gawadar and Kech expect rain from April 12th to April 14th.
Rain and thunderstorms are expected in Sukkur, Jacobabad, Kashmore, Larkana, Dadu, Qambar Shahdad Kot, Jamshoro, Karachi, Hyderabad, and Sanghar on April 13th and 14th.
The authorities have predicted landslides in the areas of KP, Murre, Galliyat, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltitstan.
