Will the solar eclipse be visible in Pakistan?

The first solar eclipse of 2024 will occur today at night in Pakistan, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department.

PMD highlighted that the solar eclipse in Pakistan will begin at 8:42 PM and end at 1:52 PM.

Solar eclipse will transpire at nighttime in many countries, such as Pakistan as people will not be able to view the solar eclipse directly.

The eclipse can be seen from the 185-kilometer stretch between Mexico, the US, and Canada.

It will be night in the countries of the region, including Pakistan, during the solar eclipse. Therefore, the people of these countries will not see the solar eclipse directly.

The whole event will take about two and a half hours, lasting for four minutes.

Millions of people in the US are journeying towards the states to view the solar eclipse, where the sun will vanish from sight and the day will become dark.

In Islam, prayer is performed after a solar eclipse has disappeared.

There will be three solar eclipses in the year 2024 and the lunar eclipse will be seen twice.

When the moon advances between Earth and the sun, it conceals the sun entirely or partially.
