Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced reduction in fares for Pakistani pilgrims, resident visa holders, and workers traveling to Saudi Arabia.
According to a PIA spokesperson, the airline has announced to cut down fares by up to 30% for pilgrims and visa holders.
The passengers who plan to travel to Jeddah and Madinah will have the opportunity to avail the benefits.
The discounted fares will be valid from April 7, 2024 to April 11, 2024.
The national flag carrier has slashed fares by up to Rs50,000 for economy class.
Passengers of national carriers who were planning to travel from Lahore will be bound to pay Rs103,680 for an economy seat.
Passengers from southern regions inclduing Karachi will have to pay Rs95,400.
The announcement of the reduction in fares came as a blessing for many people during the Holy month of Ramadan who planned to visit the holy places.
PIA has recently announced that all its debts and losses will be transferred to the a holding company taking charge.
PIA became an attractive investment opportunity for major players in the aviation sector after the current development.
