More rain is expected today in the northern parts of the country while the plain areas will once again experience a dry and hot spell.
According to a statement by the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will all get isolated rainfall and thunderstorms.
However, the PMD has not predicted any rain on Monday and dry weather is expected throughout the country.
The last week saw heavy downpours across the country including Punjab, KP, GB and Azad Kashmir.
According to the PMD, the highest rainfall recorded was in Muzaffarabad with 126mm. In Punjab Noorpur Thal received 53mm and Mandi Bahauddin received 27mm of rain.
Meanwhile, Balakot and Kakul in KP received 38 and 34 mm rain respectively.
Sindh is already engulfed by hot weather, with temperatures rising to 38 degrees in Shaheed Benazirabad and 37 degrees in Dadu, Mithi and Tando Jam.
