Parts of Punjab received minor rainfall early on Sunday with more showers expected later in the day in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit Baltistan.
Sheikhupura and Chiniot were among the cities that received rain on Sunday.
According to an advisory issued by the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Lahore and Murree could also receive rain on Sunday.
While temperatures are expected to remain between 10-12 degrees in Murree, they could rise to 29-31 degrees in Lahore despite the rain.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, rain has been predicted in Abbottabad, Dir and Chitral.
Gilgit, Hunza, Astore and Skardu are all expected to receive rainfall and temperatures are expected to remain low.
However, the weather will remain hot and dry across Sindh and Balochistan. The only place to get respite from the heat through rain in Balochistan will be Quetta, but that too on Tuesday.
