Meet Harrah Brown, a sexagenarian social media star garnering millions of views from around the world on her fitness videos and tips.
Many of her viewers cannot believe she is old enough to be their grandmother. She will turn 65 next month. She has four grown kids and followed more than two years of resistance training.
In fitness outfits, she regularly posts videos of her working out in the gym and gives suggestions on the kind of diet one should take.
According to her, it is her quest to remain “beautiful, fit and confident at any age” as viewers are in awe of her health, pictures and youthful hairstyle.
Brown lives in the United States and began working out at 61. In her posts, she explains how she manages to keep fit and stay so youthful at her age. It’s all down to one simple food rule she always follows.
“These are the types of foods I buy each week. I practice the 90/10 rule,” she wrote in her captions. “Ninety per cent nutrient-dense foods while eating at home and 10 per cent fun foods when going out to eat.”
Her bag included frozen blueberries, olive oil, malt (almond milk), pistachios, small brick of cheese, halibut fillet, roasted beef, raspberries, cucumber, romaine lettuce, cilantro fage, ground butter, cabbage, limes, and lemon.
Brown said that sticking to the plan has helped her shed belly fat she gained during menopause, making her “more lean and strong.”
“You’ll notice I don’t buy any cookies, no cakes, no snacks, no ice cream, no processed foods. And for me, this is how I have been able to lose my menopause belly fat and become more lean and strong,” she said.
In one of her recent posts, Brown said that she has never been one to lie about her age. Just the opposite, she has been grateful to be alive and moving forward, no matter her age.
“This year turning 65 has me super excited! It doesn’t feel old to me, it feels like a turning point. With each passing year, I’m refining and defining who I am and my vision for the future. It’s never too late to recreate yourself; your health, your wealth, your relationships and your life’s purpose!”
