Gulberg ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi, who rescued a woman from a violent mob in Lahore, is once again in the limelight. However, this time she has become the centre of attention through her wedding photos.
The police officer is seen wearing a golden Eastern bridal dress in the wedding photo shoot as social media users were in awe of her looks.
Several of ASP Naqvi’s wedding photos show her holding hands with her hubby.
It is pertinent to mention that ASP Naqvi has been recommended for the Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal by the Punjab Police after she rescued a woman from a mob that surrounded her for wearing a dress with Arabic calligraphy on it.
A day earlier, Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki invited her and her family to a royal visit as he lauded the police officer for her brave effort during their meeting at the Saudi embassy.
Ambassador Al-Malki told ASP Naqvi that the Saudi government would bear the expenses of her travel to Saudi with her family as a royal guest.
Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir also praised her efforts to rescue the woman in Ichhra Bazaar in Lahore on February 26.
“The fearless officer extricated a woman from the difficult milieu of Ichhra Bazaar in Lahore on February 26,” according to ISPR.
Acknowledging the role of Pakistani women in all walks of life, COAS Munir said that Pakistani women have distinguished themselves at home and abroad since independence through their talent and commitment.
“Women are an invaluable part of Pakistan’s society and their respect is enshrined in our religion as well as our social ethos,” COAS Munir said.
