Karachi Kings all-rounder Kieron Pollard has flown to India to attend the three-day pre-wedding extravaganza of Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant, leaving the Pakistan Super League midway, Geo News reported on Friday.
It added that the former West Indian cricketer has got a four-day leave from Karachi Kings for the occasion and is expected to arrive in Jamnagar, India, on Friday.
Pollard is the batting coach of the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. The team is owned by Mukesh’s wife Nita Ambani.
He will be among several cricketers and his former teammate Sachin Tendulkar joining the events in Jamnagar, Gujrat.
The guests include billionaires Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla. Bollywood stars including Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachan and Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni.

Kings is scheduled to face Multan Sultans on Sunday. Pollard has been a key player in the Shan Masood-led side’s victories.
He was player of the match for his performance during a contest against the Lahore Qalandars. He scored 58 runs, helping his side to chase 176 runs target.
Ambani had arranged a lavish wedding for his daughter Isha in 2018 that was said to cost $100 million dollars featuring a performance from Beyonce. Called a ‘mini-Davos’, the guest list had included Hilary Clinton and John Kerry as well.
