Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali has summoned the inaugural KP Assembly session on February 28, according to a notification from the assembly secretariat.
The assembly session has been summoned on February 28 at 11:00am where the newly elected members of the provincial assembly will take oath.
The election of the chief minister, speaker, and deputy speaker will be held in the same session.
It is pertinent to mention that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) backed independent candidates emerged victorious by securing 91 seats out of the total 112 seats where the election was held on February 8.
JUI-F secured seven seats in the provincial assembly, PML-N won five seats while PPP ended up with three seats.
