Karachi Kings beat Peshawar Zalmi by seven wickets as they chased down the 154-run target in the 17th over in the sixth match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 9 at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore on Wednesday.
Kings downed Zalmi comprehensively powered by Kieron Pollard’s fiery innings of 49 off 21 balls.
Earlier, Kings won the toss and decided to field first against Zalmi who managed to score 154 in 19.5 overs.
Skipper Babar Azam shined with 72 of 51 balls, however, no other batter could support him from the other end.
Rovman Powell and Asif Ali managed to score 39 and 23 runs, respectively.
Both the teams have lost their opening games in the 9th edition.
