The rupee remained flat against the dollar at the interbank foreign exchange market on Wednesday.

The local unit was trading at Rs279.31 at the closing of the interbank as against the previous day’s closing of Rs279.31.

In the open market, the buying of the dollar was recorded at Rs280.6 while it was quoted at Rs282.35 for selling at the time of filing the story.
