Awami National Party leader Aimal Wali Khan has announced a rejection of the results of the general elections and demanded an investigation into all constituencies.
Addressing a press conference in Peshawar on Sunday, Aimal said that what happened on February 8 was more of a ‘transaction’ then an election.
He also alleged that many of his party’s workers were injured during poll day violence and people who cannot walk themselves were elected to assemblies.
The ANP leader said that sidelining nationalist leader would lead to a ‘historic’ reaction. He also said that ANP did not need to be part of the parliament to raise a voice for the people.
He said that a ‘puppet’ assembly has been elected to roll back the 18th amendment.
Aimal Wali said that his party should not be pitted against the state.
