Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan claimed it had emerged victorious in Karachi and Hyderabad.

The party’s leaders including Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Mustafa Kamal addressed a press conference just past midnight where they congratulated workers on securing victory.

The party claimed that it was leading on 18 seats in Karachi.

Kalamal also said that the party would resist attempts to steal its mandate.
