The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday that Pakistan’s borders with Iran and Afghanistan will remain closed on election day.

A statement from MoFA said that the borders will be closed for both pedestrians and trade on Thursday.

MoFA added that the borders will be open once again on February 9.
