A second earthquake struck Mingora hours after the first one on on Tuesday.
The earthquake registered a 5.2 magnitude on the richter scale and its epicenter was located in the Hindukush mountains.
The earthquake spread fear in the residents of the city who exited their homes while reciting the kalima.
Earlier in the day, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake had shaken Mingora and surrounding areas. The earthquake’s magnitude had been located in the Hindukush mountains at a depth of 213 kilometre.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority had said that there were no reports of any loss of life and property after the earthquake.
