Awami National Party and Qaumi Watan Party have announced an alliance on two National Assembly seats in Charsadda for the upcoming elections.
The alliance was announced by ANP leader Aimal Wali Khan and QWP leader Aftab Sherpao in a press conference in Charsadda on Sunday.
As per the agreement, ANP’s candidate Irfan Alam will back out of elections and the party will lend its support to Aftab Sherpao in NA-24.
In NA-25, QWP candidate Qaiser Jamal will drop out of the race in favour of Aimal Wali Khan who will be a joint candidate.
