At least 24 terrorists were killed and four members of Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) were martyred in the three-day long operation that started after terrorists attacked Mach and Kolpur Complexes in Balochistan, the Inter-Service Public Relations said on Friday.
“On night 29/30 January 2024, terrorists attacked Mach and Kolpur Complexes in Balochistan. Law Enforcement Agencies deputed on security offered stiff resistance and forced the attackers to repulse,” it added.
According to the ISPR, the terrorists were hunted down in the ensuing sanitisation and clearance operations which have now been concluded after clearing and securing the area.
“Terrorist Shehzad Baloch, Attaullah, Salah Uddin, Abdul Wadood, and Zeeshan are key terrorists among the dead. The identification process of remaining terrorists is in process,” the ISPR stated.
However, during the intense exchange of fire, four members of LEAs embraced martyrdom along with two civilians.
“Effective response by LEAs is a testament to their unrelenting resolve in the fight against terrorism. Pakistan’s Security Forces stand shoulder to shoulder with other Law Enforcement Agencies to ensure peace & stability in the country,” the ISPR said.
