Sindh government has decided that all educational institutions will be closed from February 6 to 9 as the province gears up for general elections.
The education department said that a summary for the holidays has been forwarded to the chief minister and a notification will be issued as soon as confirmation is received.
The department also said that February 5 has already been declared a holiday in lieu of Kashmir Solidarity Day.
Punjab government has already announced holidays from February 6 to 9 in the province.
Elections are scheduled to take place across Pakistan on February 8.
