Former First Lady Bushra Bibi was shifted to Bani Gala House, Imran Khan’s residence in Islamabad, after it was declared a sub-jail. She will be confined to the house to serve her sentence of 14 years in prison in the Toshakhan criminal case, sources said on Wednesday.
Bushra arrived at the Adiala jail soon after the accountability court handed her and former prime minister Imran Khan the sentence in the graft case.
Earlier, sources said she was shifted to her cell in the Adiala Jail around six hours after she arrived at the prison facility and surrendered before the authorities.
Bushra along with her husband Imran Khan was sentenced to 14 years in prison earlier today in the Toshakhana case.
According to sources, the former first lady was shifted to her cell after her medical examination was conducted.
