A special court established under the official secrets act has sentenced founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and Shah Mehmood Qureshi 10-year in jail.

The verdict was pronounced by Judge Abulhasnat Zulqarnain at Adyala Jail, Rawalpindi. recorded their statement under section 342 of the code of criminal procedure.

A day before, in a 13-hour long hearing, the court took testimony of 11 witnesses and concluded cross questioning with 25 witnesses.

• September 30, 2023, FIA presented a challan in the case. Referring to 27 witnesses, the FIA said that Azam Khan is a main witness who had recorded his testimony againstImran Khan.
