PTI founder Imran Khan’s counsel Salman Safdar on Wednesday said that the former prime minister will appear before an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore via video link in cases related to terrorism.
“In the coming days, Imran Khan will mark his attendance at Lahore ATC through video link from Adiala jail. I will assist the court from Lahore,” he told media outside the jail where the former prime minister has been incarcerated.
Safdar went on to add that the divisional bench of the Lahore High Court reinstated the interim bails of Khan in seven cases related to the May 9 riots.
“Khan is not arrested in any other case other than Toshakhana and Al-Qadir Trust case. He is on bail in all other cases,” he stated.

Earlier today, a two-member bench of the Islamabad High Court reserved its decision in an appeal against Khan’s jail trial in the £190 million case and Toshakhana case.
Khan was arrested on August 5, 2023, in the Toshakhana case minutes after being sentenced by an accountability court in Islamabad.
He has not been brought to any court hearing since then and all cases have been conducted inside jail premises.
