Days after going public about her marriage to cricketer Shoaib Malik, actress Sana Javed found another joy as her husband became the first Asian cricketer to surpass the 13,000-run mark in the T20 format.
Reacting to a news about Malik achieving the milestone, the actress wrote on Instagram “MashaAllah so proud.”
Malik became the second player to reach 13,000 runs in T20 cricket and the first Asian to achieve this milestone trailing behind Chris Gayle who scored 14,562 runs during his T20 career.
He tied the knot for a second time with the actress, over a year after reports claimed he had separated from his first wife Sania Mirza.
The cricketer broke the news to his fans on his Instagram and X accounts on January 20 morning.
He is currently playing for Fortune Barisal in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
Meanwhile, reports claimed that the actress was dating Malik before her divorced with Umair Jaiswal.
“Sana divorced singer Jaiswal around three months before marrying Shoaib. It is very painful and depressing for the singer,” Naeem Hanif, a senior journalist said.
Furious fans and followers of Sania Mirza in Pakistan and India slammed the cricketer for allegedly dumping Mirza, who according to them faced heat from her countrymen after marrying Malik in 2010.
