Singer and actress Selena Gomez put to rest the rumours surrounding her conversation with singer Taylor Swift at the Golden Globe Awards 2024.
A video clip went viral on social media in which Gomez was seen gossiping with Swift who was seen surprised hearing the former.
Several on social media claimed after apparent lip-reading that Gomez told Swift that Kylie Jenner would not let her take a photo with Timothée Chalamet.
However, Gomez later rebuffed the claims on E! News Instagram post and said that the two did not discuss Chalamet or Jenner and were talking about two of their friends.
Chalamet had earlier shut down rumours around the alleged incident in an interview with a magazine.
The night saw the historical drama “Oppenheimer” and gothic comedy “Poor Things” earning the top honours at the Golden Globes.
“Oppenheimer” was named best movie drama by roughly 300 entertainment journalists who voted on the Globes as a part of a new organization created after an ethics and diversity scandal.
“Poor Things,” starring Emma Stone as a deceased woman revived by scientists, won best movie musical or comedy, beating the female-empowerment blockbuster “Barbie.”
