With the matter of the bat symbol finally settled, the Election Commission of Pakistan proceeded with the allotment of election symbols to candidates throughout Pakistan.

Candidates affiliated with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf can no longer get the bat symbol and their plan to get the batsman symbol did not pan out either.

Following the SC verdict ont he bat symbol, Barrister Gohar Khan confirmed that the party’s candidates would contest independently.

PTI’s candidates are therefore being awarded a myriad of symbols. Here are some major names and the symbols alloted to them

• PTI Chairman Gohar Khan has been allotted the kettle
• Naeem Haider Panjautha and Ahmad Chatha (Wazirabad) have been allotted bowl symbol
• Zain Qureshi has been allotted boot symbol
• Meherbano Qureshi has been allotted chimta symbol
• Imran Shaukat (NA-152) was allotted the tunnel symbol
• Riaz Lang (NA-153) was allotted the rocket symbol
• Taimur Malik and Amir Dogar in Multan were allotted the clock symbol
• Khursheed Khattak (PK-97) was allotted parachuter symbol
• Sjjad Barkawal (PK-98) was allotted the transformer symbol
