Renowned Pakistani Hindu director Parmesh Adiwal has converted to Islam and performed Umrah as he shared his video from Masjid-i-Nabvi (PBUH) on his social media.
In a video he shared on his Instagram, he was standing before the Rodha of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and praying. The video features music from Atif Aslam’s Qawwali Tajdar-e-Haram in the background.
Some media reports revealed that Parmesh named himself Mohammad after converting to Islam.
Pakistani actors Mohib Mirza, Feroze Khan, Abdullah Muzaffar and others shouted greetings on his post and fans expressed good wishes for him as well.
Parmesh Adiwal gave many popular projects to Pakistan industry including Punjab Nahi Jaungi and Ishrat Made In China. He was a co-director of Ishrat Made In China.

He also made a mark in singing with the OST of the drama serial Masters. He has directed multiple songs and na’at videos featuring Amjad Sabri, Maya Khan, Sarah Khan, and Urwa Hocane.
Parmesh Adiwal directed Punjab Nahi Jaungi’s promotional song sung by Farhan Saeed. He directed multiple hit TV commercials including Dalda’s iconic ads.
He has also directed Falak Shabir’s song Yaar Mila de and the viral hit song Jitni Punjabi by Billy X.
