Kishmala Talat qualifies for shooting in Paris Olympics

Pakistani shooter Kishmala Talat has qualified for a spot in the Paris Olympics after a strong performance in the Asian Shooting Championship.

Kishmala scored 575 points to qualify for the finals in the Championship where she secured the silver medal, granting her an automatic qualification for the olympics.

She already has a bronze medal in the Asian games to her name.

Kishmala Talat is the first Pakistani woman to qualify for shooting in the Olympics. Two men, Gulfam Joseph and GM Bashir, have already qualified.

Javelin ace Arshad Nadeem will also be representing Pakistan in the games.

Paris Olympics are scheduled to be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
