Iffat Omar challenges Khalil ur Rehman to prove his ‘derogatory remarks’

Actress Iffat Omar bashed writer and director Khalil ur Rehman Qamar over his derogatory remaks against the former and labelling her as a “Do number Aurat”.

The spat between the actress and the writer sparked when the latter used derogatory language against feminists, especially for Omar in a TV show.

In a recent interview with Suno TV, she responded to the comments of Qamar and termed him a ‘Bitter man’.

Initially, she denied talking about the serial writer, saying that “He [Qamar] is a man with narrow thinking.”

“I don’t even want to say his name after his derogatory remarks,” Omar stated.

According to the actress, she never discussed Qamar’s personal life, however, he used derogatory language against women on national Television which prompted her to respond.

“If he [Qamar] has the courage, he should come forward and prove that I am a do number aurat [bad woman],” she said.

The actress started her career in 1990 as a model and went on to prove her talent in the drama industry as well.

She regularly gives statements on politics and has been a strong adovcate of feminist ideas as well.
