Indian employeer gifts brand new cars among loyal staff members

The employees of an Indian information technology firm would now start believing in “expect the unexpected” when their boss gifted brand new cars to 50 of its staff members.

He is Murali, according to India Today. The head of Ideas2IT Technology Services Private Limited, a Chennai-based IT firm. It was his way to express his gratitude towards those staff members who stood by him in hard times since the inception of the venture. He wished to pay them back for their support.

This is not it. The firm head has also decided to provide a portion of shares to his long-term employees and started a wealth-sharing programme.

“My partner and I have been holding all the shares. We have now decided to convert the shares, providing 33 per cent of the shares to long-term employees. We also started the wealth sharing programme by which we decided to give 50 cars to our employees,” Murali said.

Last year, he added that the company had gifted 100 cars as a way of paying back employees for their efforts.
