The new movie of Prabhas, Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire has broken the record of Bollywood’s king Shah Rukh’s Dunki with its debut as the movie collected Rs95 crore net domestic on its opening day.
Shah Rukh’s Dunki was released on Thursday and gathered Rs35 crore at the box office much less amount as expected and it failed to beat Prabhas’s flop film Adipurush.
However, Salaar released on Friday in five languages Hindi, Telugu, English, Tamil, and Kannada.
Prabhas of Baahubali marked a massive comeback in his recently released movie Salaar. It also left Shah Rukh’s biggest opener Jawan behind which made Rs75 crore net on its opening day.
Besides this, Salaar claimed the second spot in the top 5 premieres in the US and North America earning 2.60 Million, it is just behind RRR with Rs3.46 million.
According to the film’s producers Hombale Films, Salaar has made Rs175 crore (early estimates) worldwide gross.
Salaar clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki at the box office. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film collected Rs 30 crores on the first day.
Additionally, Prashanth Neel gave directions to the Salaar who also directed KGF I and II, and KGF II opened with Rs 116 crore nett in India and went on to make over Rs 1000 crore worldwide.
