The second Test between Pakistan and Australia will start in Melbourne from December 26 in Melbourne, Australia.
The national squad has already arrived in Melbourne.
The team will rest today(Wednesday) and practice from Thursday. The team will play a two-day practice match on December 22 and 23, against New Zealand.
Australia beat Pakistan by 360 runs in the first Test which was played at the Optus Stadium in Perth on Sunday, as the home side had a commanding Test victory against the South Asian side.
After a massive 360-run defeat along with the deduction of two points, Pakistan slipped to second position on the WTC25 standings.
In other news, All-rounder Shadab Khan was out of the 17-member squad for the five-match T20I series against New Zealand due to an ankle injury, Chief Selector Wahab Riaz said on Tuesday.
Senior all-rounder Shadab Khan, who was the vice-captain of the T20I squad in the Men’s T20 World Cup last year, misses out on selection because of an injury.
