The per tola price of 24 karat gold recorded a decline of Rs1,800 to hit Rs216,800 on Saturday, compared with Rs218,600/tola the previous day.

The price of 10 grammes of gold also decreased by Rs1,543 to Rs185,871 per 10 grammes.

The price of 10 grammes of 22 karat gold was recorded at Rs170,382 as against Rs171,796 a day earlier, the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association reported.

The price of per tola and ten grammes of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,670 and 2,289.09, respectively.

In the international market, gold bullion decreased by $15 to hit $2,040 per ounce.
