The Election Commission of Pakistan will take up petitions against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s intra-party elections on Thursday.
A five-member bench will conduct the proceedings on Thursday. ECP issued notices to Barrister Gohar Khan on Wednesday for the hearing.
Earlier, the Commission had orderd the PTI to hold intra-party elections within 20 days or risk losing its electoral symbol, bat.
In response, PTI had organised the elections with Imran Khan not contesting for the post of chairman.
In his place, Barrister Gohar Khan had been elected unopposed.
