Medical student’s father pardons her killer

Adding a new dimension to the case of the murdered medical student in Lahore, the police have informed that the father of the deceased has granted the accused forgiveness.

A female medical student, identified as Tazaen Nazir settled in Lahore from Saudi Arabia along with family recently for education, was gunned down during a quarrel in Chung Town housing society on Sunday.

Earlier, Lahore Sessions Court Judge Allah Dutta heard the medical student murder case in which accused Abdul Rehman got interim bail to avoid arrest.

On the other hand, CCPO Lahore also directed DIG Investigation Imran Kishore to investigate the murder case of a medical student and add another section 311 to the case.

But in an interesting turn of events, the police claimed that the victim’s father had forgiven the accused.

The First Information Report (FIR) was registered on the complaint of the deceased’s brother, on November 4, stated that she was going home with her mother and brother. A car overtook her and four people including, Sajid alias Shira, Abid, Amjad and one unknown got out of the car and opened fire.

A bullet hit the victim’s spine and the assailants managed to escape, Tazaen was rushed to Jinnah Hospital but she died after being treated for 10 days.

Tazaen shifted to Pakistan along with her family to continue her education Where young people from influential families opened fire for stopping wrong driving in private society.
