Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab inaugurated the zipline at Karachi’s Safari Park on Sunday.
Speaking to the media on the occasion, Wahab said that the zipline would be Karachi’s first and would provide a new attraction for the city’s people.
Wahab personally rode the zipline as well.
He was accompanied by Deputy Mayor Salman Murad at the inauguration.
Murad added that development projects were underway across all seven districts of the city simultaneously.
He said that Karachi’s administration had already created the Dino Safari Park and planned to introduce horse riding at the park as well.
The mayor said that the plan was to build more recreational spots in the city. However, he added that financial issues were causing delays in several projects.
