Authorities in Karachi have sealed two branches of a well-known fast-food restaurant.
As per the details available, the Sindh Revenue Board has sealed two branches of Red Apple Restaurant in Karachi for not being connected to the Point of Sale.
According to a notification issued by the Sindh Revenue Board, two branches of Red Apple Restaurant located in Defense Khadda Market and Clifton Block 2 have been sealed.
As per the news reported on **We News** The Sindh Revenue Board has said that despite several notices being sent, the concerned restaurant was not attached to the Point of Sale, after which action was taken against it.
Officials also said that under the Sindh Sales Tax Act, those doing business of more than Rs5 million annually must be linked to the point of sale.
The Board has urged the public to ask for the original receipt after eating food in restaurants.
