Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has appointed Sher Afzal Marwat as senior vice-president of the party with immediate effect.

The appointment was confirmed by a notification issued by the party’s secretary general Omar Ayub Khan on Wednesday.

Marwat is a lawyer who has reprsented Imran Khan in multiple cases.

He made headlines earlier this year for engaging in a fight with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s Senator Afnanullah.
