Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shaukat Yousafzai reached the Peshawar High Court after he was off-loaded from a flight at Peshawar airport on Wednesday.
Yousafzai said that he was travelling abroad for Umra and had gained prior permission from a court for the matter.
He also added that he is not implicated in any FIR and is not included in the Exit Control List either.
The PTI leader then reached the PHC, saying he had always conducted his politics on principles and believed in law and constitution.
Yousafzai served as the information minister in the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and was one of the main faces of the party in the province.
He is one of a hndful of PTI leaders who have maintained allegiances with the party after the events of May 9.
Both chief ministers he served under in the PTI government have already formed a new party, named the PTI-Parliamentarians.
