Aleema Khan fears Imran Khan to remain in Jail

Aleema Khan said on Wednesday that the way things are shaping up suggests that Imran Khan would remain in prison.

Speaking to the reporters after an anti-terrorism court in Lahore extended her bail, along with sister Uzma Khan, Aleema said that Khan would remain a leader whether in jail or outside.

She said that the Islamabad High Court had issued a good decision on the jail trial. However, she had no hope of justice as it was clear that Khan would not be let out of jail

The ATC in Lahore extended the interim bails of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman’s sisters Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan till December 9.

The hearing was held on the interim bail applications of the PTI chairman’s sisters and others including Asad Umar.

Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Arshad Javed heard the interim bails.

After their temporary bail expired, Uzma Khan and Aleema Khan appeared before the court in Lahore.

Asad Umar and Zain Qureshi did not appear in the court.

The court accepted the plea of both the accused for exemption from appearance.

The investigating officer pleaded that the investigation involving the accused is not being done, the investigation has also not been completed.

The court had also sought the investigation report of the accused from the police.
