Imamul Haq is all set to tie the knot this month, according to media reports. Though neither the left-handed batter nor his future wife has made any official announcements, the picture of his wife-to-be is going viral on social media.
All of this started with an Urdu caption ‘Imam Ki Anmol’ by Pakistani designer Hassan Sheheryar Yasin, often referred to by his initials, HSY on Instagram. The handle also tagged both the cricketer and his future wife.
While citing sources, The Express Tribune reported that the wedding festivities would begin with a Qawwali night on Thursday. Some reports said that the event would be held in Lahore.
Imamul Haq, who represented the national cricket team in the ICC Men’s 50-over World Cup in India, is expected to wear a prince coat.
He would be the next Pakistani cricketer after Shaheen Shah Afridi to get married. The left-arm fast bowler tied the knot with Ansha, daughter of former cricketer Shahid Afridi, in a nikkah ceremony in Karachi on February 3, 2023. Their wedding ceremony was in Karachi on September 19 which was also attended by Imam.
