PML-N’s Khawaja Asif has said that the party will give tickets to those politicians who supported the PDM’s no-confidence vote against former prime minister Imran Khan.
“It was told before the media that they will be ticket holder of the PML-N in the upcoming elections,” he told Asma Shiraz on Faisla Aap Ka.
According to Asif, the electables play an important role in Balochistan’s politics, saying that they have a huge following in their constituencies.
“I wish leadership from the middle class come forward in Balochistan. I was also advocating for the continuity of Dr Malik’s government in the province,” he added.
For Asif, parties will have to work with the electables until the dynamics of Pakistan’s politics are changed and nationalist parties in all provinces are motivated in mainstream politics.
On making alliances with political parties, he said that it was better if measures were taken to bring everyone together rather than a confrontational approach.
Asif said that Nawaz Sharif has always tried to take everybody on board as he signed a Charter of Democracy with former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

Discussing the situation in Gaza, he said that Palestinians have been killed while the Muslim leaders are sitting idle.
“I am not against Jews but I am against Zionism. The children of Imran Khan are being brought up in a house which is one of the biggest supporters of Zionism. Goldsmiths are among the founders of Zionism,” he added.
He alleged that Khan supported a Zionist against Sadiq Khan in the election of Mayor of London.
Responding to a question on elections, he did not see any reason to delay elections in the country.
“The two-month delay was due to the census and delimitation process. I do not know why PTI-Parliamentarian wants to delay elections,” Asif said.
