Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Public Service Commission caught 18 candidates cheating in their exams.
Soon after malpractices in the MDCAT exams made headlines, the Public Service Commission caught onto another instance of cheating using modern methods in recent exams.
Reports said that the cheating was caught during exams for grade-17 posts in the agriculture and communication and works department.
Invigilators caught 18 candidates using electronic devices and guides to cheat in the exams. The action was taken after a complaint on the Citizen Portal.
The candidates had their exams cancelled on the spot. Authorities say they can be disqualified for upto three years if cheating is proven.
