Salman Khan’s latest release, “Tiger 3,” has achieved two significant milestones on its third day in theatres. The action-thriller, part of the YRF Spy Universe, amassed an estimated Rs 42 crore on Tuesday.
It has earned an impressive amount of Rs 100 crore in the initial two days. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film’s domestic total now stands at Rs 146 crore, marking Salman’s 17th movie to cross the Rs 100 crore net threshold.
Early estimates indicate that “Tiger 3,” starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif, earned around ₹42.50 crore on day 3.
This represents a slight dip from its Day 1 and Day 2 figures of ₹44.5 crore and ₹59 crore, respectively.
The film’s total collections reached ₹103.50 crores after two days, and the latest figures bring the overall collection to ₹146 crores. Despite the drop, the film reportedly had a 30.93% Hindi occupancy on Tuesday.
As a sequel to the 2017 film “Tiger Zinda Hai” and part of the YRF spy universe, “Tiger 3” features Katrina Kaif reprising her role as Zoya, with Emraan Hashmi joining as the lead antagonist.
The film also includes cameo appearances by Hrithik Roshan from “War” and Shah Rukh Khan from “Pathaan.”
According to a review from Hindustan Times, the screenplay by Shridhar Raghavan and many dialogues by Anckur Chaudhry contribute to the film’s appeal.
The cinematography by Anay Goswamy captures beautiful locales, but the editing by Rameshwar S. Bhagat receives mixed reviews for some disjointed portions.
The film, with a runtime of two hours and 36 minutes, is noted for its occasional lulls but keeps viewers engaged with explosive action sequences.
