PML-N’s Nawaz Sharif has said that the party will continue its tradition of collaboration and cooperation with everyone.
Sharif and his brother Shehbaz Sharif met the political leadership of Balochistan after arriving in Quetta on Tuesday.
The Nawaz-led PML-N delegation met various stakeholders including Balochistan Awami Party’s Khalid Magsi, Sadiq Sanjrani and Manzoor Kakar among others.
National Party’s Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Dr. Hamid Achakzai, JUI-F’s Maulana Sarwar Musakhail, and a delegation of Balochistan Awami Party were also among the leaders Sharif met during his visit.
“The development of Balochistan has always been dear to us,” Sharif said while talking to media after meeting the province’s political leadership.
“PML-N laid a network of thousands of kilometers of roads in Balochistan to alleviate poverty and backwardness,” he added.
The development work started for Balochistan, was stopped after the end of the PML-N government, Sharif added.
“We have been discussing the development of Gwadar since 1998. We completely eliminated terrorism and load shedding, in Balochistan,” he said.
The former prime minister vowed the PML-N will always work together with everyone following its tradition.
JUI-F’s Maulana Sarwar Musakhel said that Sharif has assured of taking allies with him as he had done before.
Khalid Magsi said that it was an informal talk with Sharif after they welcomed him on his visit to Quetta.
“There will be a discussion regarding political adjustment if there are more meetings with Sharif,” he added.
Earlier, PML-N Leaders Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Quetta to meet multiple important political leaders.
Nawaz and Shehbaz were also accompanied by Maryam Nawaz and other party leaders.
PML-N Spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb says that Nawaz Sharif is going to Balochistan for the first time after returning home on October 21, he will hold important meetings with important political leaders of the province, and the leaders will preside over the important organizational meeting of PML-N.
On the other hand, sources say that Pakistan Muslim League (N) is once again going to become a major political party in Balochistan, and the senior leader of PML-N Balochistan, Chaudhry Naeem Karim, has claimed that major political figures should announce their joining.
According to sources, among the former provincial ministers who joined PML-N are Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Muhammad Khan Toor Atmakhil, Muhammad Khan Lahri, Abdul Karim Noshirwani, Nawab Chingiz Marri, Noor Muhammad Damar, Abdul Ghafoor Lahri, Sardar Masood Loni, Dr. Rababa Bilidi, Mujibur Rahman Muhammad Hosni and other former ministers are included.
Senior political members including Sahar Gul Khalji will announce their formal participation.
