The Rawalpindi District Court acquitted PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi in the riots case.
The district court of Rawalpindi acquitted former federal minister Hanif Abbasi in the riots case on the occasion of Captain Retired Safdar’s arrest.
A case was registered against Hanif Abbasi in the year 2018 for interference in the government and violation of Section 144.
This case was filed in July 2018 against the protest against the arrest of Captain Retired Safdar in Thane City.
In today’s hearing, Hanif Abbasi appeared in the court along with his lawyer, where the court acquitted him.
The case was heard by Additional District and Sessions Judge Naveed Akhtar Lone.
