The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA) has added another feature to its system by providing facilities for online family registration and obtaining birth or death certificates by the application Pak-ID.
In a bid to make their consumers trouble-free, NADRA shared the process of certification and registration on its X handle where it showed the entire procedure of using the application.
The nominated heir must submit the application along with the National Identity Card, death certificate of the deceased and family registration. Complete details of the deceased person’s heirs and total assets must be provided.
After obtaining complete details of assets, affidavits and biometric verification will be mandatory from the legal heirs of the deceased both at home and abroad.
In order to get a family registration certificate, heirs will have to publish public notices on the NADRA website and national newspapers, then the certificate will be issued after 15 days.
