Police found explosives in Rawalpindi after receiving a complaint about a suspicious bag on Tuesday.

Police received a complaint about a bag in Gorakhpur, a short distance from Adiala Jail.

A bomb disposal squad immediately reached the scene and found an electronic device along with 1,500 grams of explosive material in the bag.

Police said that the explosives found in the bag were ‘powerful’.

The bomb disposal squad cleared the bag and confiscated the electronic device.
