Several were injured including a minor girl in a hand grenade explosion in the Bihar Colony neighbourhood of Lyari Town in Karachi, rescue officials said.

The injured included two women and a minor girl who were moved to the hospital, they added.

An official of Karachi police said that the target of the attack was a three-story building in Bihar Colony.

The blast injured at least seven including two women, a child and four men, he added.
